2. Donate funds via secure paypal.

1. Become a regular donor on a monthly basis. 
2. Donate through Benevity. Certain employers use Benevity for matching donations. Your dollar goes twice as far. 

3. Donate bicycles.

1. We take all bikes-no matter the condition. Volunteers break down for recycling the ones beyond fixing. Skilled techs bring the usable ones to life again. 
2. Donate bikes at The Community Bike Shop, 137 NE 3rd Ave. Hillsboro, OR.

For every $75 in donations, a deserving child will receive a new (or refurbished) bicycle, a CPSC certified helmet, a bicycle lock.

We began by adopting one school in Washington County to receive this valuable bicycle gift set!   2016 three schools will be selected .As the program grows so will the amout of schools and children that can receive bikes.

School staff selects the children to receive the bikes.  Past criteria set up by the schools have been improved attendance, writing contest, homework being turned in on time.

Washington County agencies such as DHS (Dept. of Health Services), Adelente Mujures, Big Brothers Little Sisters reach out to us during the year to help with individual cases of a child in need of a bike. Many of these cases, bikes are needed as a form of transportation rather than that of a toy. 

Any amount can be donated and will be pooled together.

If you have an bike you would like to donate, we invite you to do so!  Your donation will help us continue our efforts towards improving cycling in Washington County.  

We carefully evaluate each donated bike. Durable bikes in good condition are cleaned and tuned up. Some go to eligible youth and adults in our community programs. Kid's bikes are in particular demand because they may be used in the fleet that we maintain for our youth education programs.  Kid's bikes also are given needy children as a part of our annual "Adopt-A-Bike" program.  Bikes not needed for our core programs are refurbished and sold in our retail shop with the proceeds benefitting our non-profit mission. Bikes in poor condition are carefully dismantled and usable parts are salvaged. Unusable bikes and parts are carefully recycled.

We have given away over 400 bikes to date and recycled tons of metal and rubber thanks to your contributions! Thank you!
